Renault Clio Megane Traffic Espace Master compatible car key NE-38.P4 cut & transponder cloned

This key profile was also used with a number of trucks by Rernault and DAF.

This key profile is a JMA NE-38.P4 and has the same key blade as a Silca NE73 or the Orion code NN 73. There are a couple of Silca blanks that match this key and these include NE73MH, NE73T16, NE73T32, NE73T5, NE73T6, NE73T8 & NE73TE. 

There is also a NON-transponder version of the key for older models and the Silca reference for this is NE73 (METAL KEY), NE73TP & NE73DP.

In the case of the models listed above, they use highly encrypted transponder chips and so the vehicle MUST be present to make a new key as we need to gather data from the vehicle and the key using our special equipment to make a copy of the chip.

The main security element in modern car, van or motorcycle keys is the transponder chip. These have been used in most makes from the mid 90's. It is this item that allows the ignition to start the engine. These transponders can come in a few different types and there is more information on this subject in our FAQ section.

In most modern remote keys or flip keys there are 2 main elements, the remote control which often just opens the doors and the transponder chip which holds encrypted security information that allows the vehicle to start with the key is placed in the ignition where this information can be read by the vehicle's computer.

Having even a manual key as a spare can save a lot of stress and expense later and is much cheaper then having a spare remote key or flip key.
