Holden Astra TS 1998-2004 remote key Bosch RK 204 315 MHz

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

Holden produced a large number of vehicles from the late 1990 to the mid 2000's that used this shape remote. They are not all the same and so you must check the part number on the back of your remote before purchasing.

This one here is a Bosch RK 204 315 MHz.

It was used with the Holden Astra TS from 09/1998 to 2004 All Badges - except the convertible

It was used with the Holden Astra TC Classic from 2004 to 2006 - except the convertible

There are also 2 other identical looking remote heads used with TS Astra models from those years:

DPHC09R for the Astra TS 09/1998 - 2004 433 MHz (Bosch RK203 433.92 MHz)

DPHC13R for the Astra TS 09/1998 - 10/2004 Convertible also on 315 MHz (Delphi Megamos Type S-AM 315 MHz)

This item is the remote only and can fit on 2 different U-blade key profiles which you can select from the compatible items tab if needed. You will also require a transponder chip for the immobiliser and all of this can only be coded to your vehicle using diagnostic equipment. 

We can arrange all of this to be done at our shop in East Victoria Park in WA or you can take it to your mechanic, local locksmith or auto electrician if only needing the remote coded.

The N153 on the back of the remote is not a part number and is only a compliance code, which appears on many car remotes.
