KIA emergency key blade for smart remote proximity key HY19D

This emergency key blade fits inside many Hyundai and Kia smart proximity remote keys of the type shown in the photos. The emergency key blade is released by pressing the small round silver button on the remote body and sliding out the emergency key.

Please check that the key profile of your existing key matches this one before purchasing.

This one here uses the Silca HYN17 or JMA HY-19D shape and you will notice this has a fairly wide square edge groove along the left edge of the key blade on both sides. This type of key is milled out along the right side of this groove and is usually referred to as a wave cut or laser cut.

This key will need to be duplicated or cut to match your existing key. We can do this in our shop in East Victoria Park WA 6101 or you can have it done at any good locksmith shop where you live.

We charge an additional $20 to cut this type of key blade.

There is a reverse of this key profile know as Silca HYN17R or JMA HY-19 where the square cut groove is toward the right edge of the blade.
