Genuine Kia 95440-A9200 - 5 button remote proximity smart key can be used with the following KIA models:

Many of the newer Kia and Hyundai smart keys come with a sticker on the back which shows the part number. If this has been removed you can also find more information on the key on the inside of the back cover. To open the smart remote, slide out the emergency key blade by pressing the small silver button on the back of the smart remote.

Once the emergency key has been removed, hold the smart remote with the buttons facing upward and the open end facing you. You will see a small slot on the right side of the open end. Using a flat blade screwdriver, insert it in that slot and gently twist and the case will open.

Your old key may also still have the sticker on the back showing the part number - 95440-A9200

This smart key emergency blade is sold seperately. Cutting the key and programming to the vehicle NOT included in the price.

Please remove the emergency key from your existing remote and compare the key profile to those in the photos to ensure your key is the same profile. Press the small silver rectangular button on the back of the remote to release the emergency blade and just slide it out.

The standard emergency key which comes with the remote uses the JMA HY-11D or Silca HYN14 key profile as shown in the attached photos.

The remote comes with a battery already fitted and the battery type is listed under "Compatible Items" should you need a spare for your old key.

This key uses an ID47(Hitag3) NCF29A1X transponder chip and the remote transmits on 433.92 MHz FSK

This type pf smart key can only be programmed to the car using a special diagnostic device plugged into the vehicle. We can do this service for you for an additional fee or you can have it done locally to where you live.

To cut and code the new key to your vehicle usually takes 40-50 minutes. Please call and book an appointment for this service.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
