Kia Sorento 2015-2019 smart key genuine emergency key blade 81996-C5040

This emergency key blade fits inside a number of Kia smart proximity remote keys of the type shown in the photos. The emergency key blade is released by pressing the small silver button on the back of the remote body and sliding out the emergency key.

Please check that the key profile of your existing key matches this one before purchasing.

This one here uses the Silca HYN17R or JMA HY-19 shape blade.

You will notice from the photos that this key has a groove that is offset and when cut only one edge is cut on both sides of the key.

Check the photos carefully to ensure you select the correct one or send us your VIN so we can confirm it is correct for your vehicle.

This key will need to be duplicated or cut to match your existing key. We can do this in our workshop in East Victoria Park WA 6101 or you can have it done at any good locksmith shop where you live.

We charge an additional $20 to cut this type of key blade if it is not being done as part of programming a new proximity key.
