Ford Falcon Fairlane Fairmont EB-AU1 4 button after market slim remote control

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

The genuine remote controls for these older model EB to AU Series 1 Ford Falcon Fairlane & Fairmont are no longer in productions and so this is the only option we offer it replace the remote unless you have a working remote and can come into our store in which case we can clone your old remote onto the RCR10 of one of the other remotes shown under compatible items.

Many of our separate remotes fobs such as this one here can be programmed to your vehicle yourself and we provide instruction on how to do this with all such remotes. The instructions will usually have pictures of which buttons to press in the car or very specific instructions on what you need. In almost all cases this takes less than 5 minutes to complete and some such as the Ford remotes can take as little as 2 minutes to program to your car.

If you have any issues during programming please call us and we will talk you through it. If you are not confident about programming the remote yourself just select the Click & Collect delivery option and then bring your car to our shop during business hours and we will program the remote for you.

Where you wish to integrate your remote and key into a flip key this will need to be done at our shop as we do not have a mobile key cutting service.

This remote can of course be used to replace the 3 button version which was used with utes which just featured the lock, unlock and panic button. In these instances the boot release button on this remote will not work as the vehicle will not have the necessary wiring for it.
