Toyota Corolla or RAV 4 - 2 black button remote 1512T-1 shell only

Protecting the circuit board and battery of your remote from the elements is very important but why replace your entire remote just because the case is damaged. Even if the button pad has been lost or damaged there is a cheaper options. Here we offer you a top quality aftermarket replacement shell for your remote.

The back cover of the remote has the following part number embossed on it: 1512T-1.

To open this remote shell you will need a small to medium size flat blade screw driver. You will see a slot in the side of the remote case near the loop used to attach the remote to your key ring. Place the blade of the screw driver in this slot and gently twist to open the case up.

Simply transfer the board and battery from your old remote to this new shell and its as good as a new remote. 

It is always wise to test the battery when you are replacing the case. This can be done with a multi-meter but if you don't have one why not pop into our shop and we will test it for you and swap over the board into the new shell. 

The kit includes both front and back sections of the case and the rubber button pad as shown in the photos and is easy to do yourself or come into our shop and we will swap them over for you.
