The older 225-212 2 button peanut shaped remote that this replaces was a very popular remote used with may systems and as long as you have the over ride pin code for your system you will be able to code in this new remote. Please check the back of your old remote to ensure it does not have FC on it as this means Fixed Code and is no longer available and is not compatible with this rolling code remote.

This new remote has the words ARM & DISARM under the appropriate buttons. The back of the remote even explains what each button does and the optional features of the system such as holding down either button to activate a panic alarm if you are in duress or feel threatened. The buttons also have different textured finishes to make the remote easy to use in low light or at night.

TO PROGRAM A NEW ONE OF THESE REMOTES TO YOUR VEHICLE YOU WILL NEED THE ORIGINAL SERVICE & OVERRIDE NUMBER THAT CAME WITH THE SYSTEM. THIS IS A 5 DIGIT NUMBER AND A STICKER WITH IT WILL NORMALLY BE PLACED IN THE VEHICLE MANUAL AND ON THE IMMOBILISER MODULE UNDER THE DASH OF THE CAR.

Many of our remotes fobs such as this one here can be programmed to your vehicle yourself and we are happy to provide instruction on how to do this. The instructions will usually have pictures of which buttons to press in the car or very specific instructions on what you need. In almost all cases this takes less than 5 minutes to complete and some remotes can take as little as 2 minutes to program to your car.

MOST AUTO WATCH SYSTEMS CAN HOLD UP TO 8 REMOTES IN THE MEMORY OF THE UNIT

If you have any issues during programming please call us and we will talk you through it. If you are not confident about programming the remote yourself just select the Click & Collect delivery option and then bring your car to our shop during business hours and we will program the remote for you.
