This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This remote key is suited to a number of different ford models and the steps to program the remote part vary depending on the modle so please letus know which model car you have when ordering it.

The remote is suited to the Australian market vehicles and transmits on 433.9 MHz.

The transponder chip that is supplied as standard with this key is a TPX2 cloning chip which you can have the chip in your old key cloned onto. Many of the models above use different vadiations on ID60, ID63 or ID63-80 chips and so the easiest method for you to get a spare key is the have the chip cloned.

The Ford HU101 key is a fairly complex key and it is definitely best to have it cut to code if your original key is quite worn, as duplicating from a worn key will result in a very poor copy. This type of key is referred to a wave cut of laser cut key generally.
