Mitsubishi G8D-576M-A genuine remote key part for models 2004 - 2016

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This remote can only be programmed to the vehicle using a diagnostic tool by a licensed repairer. We can do this for you or you can use a local locksmith, mechanic or auto electrician where you live.

There are 2 main key profiles used on Mitsubishi vehicles and so it is vital you look closely at the grooves on the blade of your key to identify which key shell you need. You can can always send us a photo of your key and remote if you are unsure of what you need.

These remotes are supplied with a CR1616 battery already fitted and if you need a spare or extra battery you can find these under compatible items.
