This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This genuine 3 button remote can be used with a large number of Ford models using a flip-key style key with either the TIBBE key blade or the Silca HU101 key blade. Both flip-key parts are shown under compatible items.

This table is intended as a guide only and if in doubt check the part number on your existing key.

In the part of the remote that fits inside the flip key section you will see some very small printed part numbers which should include: 15K601-AC indicating is is compatible with this remote.

The circuit board of your remote should have the code 952401f printed on it.

This remote can be coded to the vehicle yourself following some very simple steps.

1. Enter the vehicle and close all doors

2. Insert the key in the ignition and turn 1 place to accessories

3. Press rear demister switch 3 times within 4 seconds. Don't hurry this step

4. After approx. 5 seconds the door locks should cycle (i.e. lock & unlock on their own). If this fails - turn key to OFF then back to accessories and repeat step 3 above

5. Once door locks cycle, press any button on the new remote - if successful the door locks will cycle

6. Now press any button on any additional remotes, including old ones until all remotes have been re-coded

7. Once complete remove the key from the ignition and exit the vehicle to test all remotes
