Hyundai emergency key blade for smart remote proximity key HY18

This emergency key blade fits inside many Hyundai and Kia smart proximity remote keys of the type shown in the photos. The emergency key blade is released by pressing the small round silver button on the remote body and sliding out the emergency key.

Please check the key profile of your existing key matches this one before purchasing.

This one here uses the Silca KIA7 or JMA HY-18 shape and you will notice this has a groove along the center of the key blade on both sides. This type of key is milled out along both sides of this central groove and is usually referred to as a wave cut of laser cut.

This key will need to be duplicated or cut to match your existing key. We can do this in our shop in East Victoria Park WA 6101 or you can have it done at any good locksmith shop where you live.

We charge an additional $20 to cut this type of key blade.
