Hyundai Santa Fe DM series from 2013 - 3 button smart proximity key

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

Your remote must look identical and your key blade must be the same profile.

This key includes an emergency key blade with the Silca KIA7 or JMA HY18 type profile. Please check the photos carefully before purchasing. If you have the other shape key blade on the Silca HY17R profile you will need to add it to your order under compatible items as we currently have no aftermarket option for that 81996-2W040 emergency key blade.

The remote comes with a battery already fitted and the battery type is listed under "Compatible Items" should you need a spare for your old key.

This key uses a SMART 46 PCF7952 transponder and the remote transmits on 433.92 MHz FSK

This type pf smart key can only be programmed to the car using a special diagnostic device plugged into the vehicle. We can do this service for you for an additional fee or you can have it done locally to where you live.

To cut and code the new key to your vehicle usually takes 30-40 minutes. Please call and book an appointment for this service.
