VW Amarok 2010 - 2016 5K0837202AD or 7E0837202AD aftermarket 2 button flip key

This top quality VW 2 button flip key is compatible with a number of VW cars as long as they match the details below.

In the slot where the key blade is folded into, you will see the following details:

This key uses the ID 48 Megamos Crypto transponder chip used in the majority of VW cars and the remote transmits on 433 Mhz.

The flip key comes fitted with a key blade on the following profile:

SILCA HU66 = JMA HU HAA = KD HU#86

The remote comes ready to use with a battery fitted and spare batteries can be ordered from the compatible items tab. This style remote key use CR2032 batteries.

As this key is an aftermarket product it does not come with a VW logo on the back but you can purchase a 14mm logo stock if you wish to place one there.

If your key still starts the car but your remote no longer works you can of course just order the remote part. Check under the Compatible Items tab for this part. 

The transponder chip and the remote part will both need to be coded to the vehicle using specialist diagnostic equipment. This can be done by most automotive locksmiths.

In WA this can only be done by a licensed technician. We are licensed to do these types of keys and will be happy to help you.

The vehicle will need to be there for us to code your new key and we will generally need the vehicle for between 45-60 minutes.

This key code can also come as a 3 button flip key for other VW models. 

You can also choose from a few other styles of 2 button flip key if you would prefer to have a different looking key. The photo attached shows what these look like.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
