This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This stylish and solid Honda compatible 2 button remote flip key can be coded to your Honda Jazz model between 2006 and 2009 as long as the part numbers on your original remote module match to: G8D-382H-A Freq. 433.9MHZ with an ID 8E Megamos Crypto 2 transponder chip 

You can choose from a number of 2 button options but we have listed here the most popular and most suited to this vehicle.

Use the VIN mask shown in the VIN number field in the tables below to ensure you are ordering the correct key. The digits shown as # can be any character or digit. While the specified characters must match.

Please note G8D-382H-A can be used as a part number on many different Honda keys in both 2 and 3 button vatieties. The remote can be used with a few different transponder chips and so it is vital you check the details of your key very carefully.

This key has an separate transponder chip, meaning the chip is NOT part of the circuit board. The chip can either be cloned from your original using special equipment or a new ID 8E chip can be coded to your vehivle using a diagnostic scan tool by a licensed repairer such as ourselves.

The remote part is coded to the vehicle using what is called an onboard process, where you use an already registered key and follow the instructions provided to turn on and off the ignition and then press buttons on the new remote etc. We provide these instructions will all purchases or we can do the entire process for you at our shop in East Victoria Park WA 6101.

If you just want a spare key and are not fussed on the remote you can also see this option under compatible items tab of the genuine key. It is very important to check if your car has an integrated alarm system by locking it using the lock button on your remote, wait for 1 minute then open the door using the key manually and do NOT press the unlock button. If the alarm goes off then you will need a spare key with a remote, if the alarm does not go off then you can have a spare manual transponder key such as the HOND-31.P

Please note the Dimensions in mm (L X W X D) given under the Data Sheet are for the body of the flip key when it is folded and so does not include the key blade. As many keys are not rectangular we measure the item at the widest or longest point.

This flip key has a number of advantages over the OEM plastic shell remote key in that:

1. The flip key contruction is much stronger than the plastic Honda shell

2. The flip key folds so it is easier to store in your pocket or bag

3. The flip key will not tear the lining of your pockets as the key folds away and so will not dig into your lining.

4. The flip key is more stylish and appaealing to most customers.

5. You can choose from a few styles of flip key and in some cases even have a coloured flip key.

As these are generic flip keys the circuit boards start off blank and using special equipment we write the appropriate coded to the circuit board to suit this vehicle. You may see identical looking flip keys for sale elsewhere listing other vehicles and so even though they look identical they will have different information on the circuit baord and so will not necessarlily work with your vehicle.
