This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

The details on the casing is less reliable than the number on the circuit board as the original factory casing may have been damaged and changed. If your smart key is all original then both the circuit board number and details on the back of the case should match the above.

If you are not sure you can send us a photo of the front and back of the circuit board in your current smart key and we will assist you to identify the correct replacement.

This type of smart key can only be coded to your vehicle using specialist diagnostic tools by a licensed locksmith or vehicle repairer. We can code the smart key and cut your key in our shop in East Victoria Park WA or you can have it done locally to where you live.

We charge $90 to code this type of smart keyand cut the key blade. You will need to call to make an appointment.
