EMERGENCY OVERRIDE:
At the time of installation a hidden push button switch was fitted, usually under the dashboard.
If the alarm is armed and fails to respond to the remote control, or you have misplaced your remote, you can override the alarm as follows;
1) Open the door with the ignition key - the alarm will trigger
2) Turn on the ignition and press the override button for 3 seconds - this will cancel the alarm and put the alarm in valet mode – LED on constant. See below to cancel valet mode.
VALET MODE - LED PERMANENTLY LIT:
When disarmed, turn the ignition on and press and hold the override switch for 3 seconds. Siren will chirp and lights flash once to confirm. LED will stay lit to indicate valet mode.
Repeat this process to turn the system back on.
