Holden Colorado RG series 2012 onward compatible 2 button flip key

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This 2 button aftermarket remote flip key suits Holden Colorado RG models from 2012 onward which use the same shape flip key.

The key has an integrated ID46 PCF7941E HITAG2 transponder chip on the circuit board and so the remote part programs to the vehicle at the same time as the transponder chip. This key uses the common GM key blade matching the Silca HU100 profile.

The remote transmits on 433 MHz. As you will see in the photo the key is supplied without a logo on the back. There is a 13.5mm circular recess on the back of the key where you can place a logo sticker if you wish.

This type of key can only be programmed to your vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool plugged into the OBD port on the car. We are licensed to do this work and can cut and program your new key at our East Victoria Park workshop in WA.

This key is supplied with a CR2032 battery already fitted and if you need spare batteries you will find them under Compatible items.
