Jeep Renegade 2017 4 button flip key aftermarket

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This OEM style 4 button remote flip key can be used with Jeep Renegade models from 2017 onward, where the original key looks identical to this one and also uses the MQB48 transponder chip. 

As this key is an aftermarket product it does not feature a Jeep logo on the case but it is a high quality flip key.

The remote and transponder are programmed to the vehicle in one process using specialist diagnostic equipment. We can do this for you at our East Victoria Park workshop or you can have it done locally where you live by a licensed locksmith, auto electrician or mechanic.
