VW 5K0 837 202 AD 3 button UDS style flip key case with chrome key loop

On the older VW keys and flip key end and the remote part could separate in the middle. The older type also had the remote LED in the middle or the key. This newer style flip key looks pretty similar but the remote section does not separate and the LED for the remote is up the end near the key blade. Take a look at the photos for more info.

This key shell is marked as 5K0 837 202 AD but will also suit other VW key part numbers as long as they are of this new type. If you are not sure you can always send us some photos of your current key.

These UDS style key shells have a pin which secures the front and back section together and this pin must be very carefully knocked through to allow you to open the case and remove the circuit board. 

We offer this service along with cutting the new key blade to match your existing key at our workshop in East Victoria Park in WA or you can have it done locally where you live also. As you can see from the photos a new pin is provided to secure the new case toghether once the circuit board is inside.

It is imprtant to test that the flip key mechanism is tensioned properly before you fit the pin. It is also a good idea to test the remote is functioning correctly as once the pin is fitted fully it cannot be easily removed.
