Genuine Toyota Rav 4 2 button proximity key for use with Rav 4 models after 2014 where the circuit board number matches as shown in the photos.

Your original remote circuit board must have the number 281451-0020 printed on it.

Please take care when opening the case of your proximity key to not damage it. 

If you are not sure you can send us a photo of the front and back of the circuit board in your current smart key and we will assist you to identify the correct replacement.

This type of proximity key is also sometimes referred to as a smart key or prox key as it allows you to start the vehicle without having to put it in a slot or put a key in the ignition.

The battery is included in the price and if you need a spare you can order this under compatible items.

A suitable aftermarket emergency key blade is listed under compatible items as one is not included in the price.

Coding and extra key when you have a working key is not a problem, however if you loose your only smart key, then the cost and complexity of the process escalate dramatically. It is not uncommon for customers to be charged up to $3500 by the dealer to resolve the issue when all keys are lost. Having a spare key for your Toyota is essential if you want to avoid a very large bill and the prospect of being without your vehicle for up to 3 weeks.

This type of smart key can only be coded to your vehicle using specialist diagnostic tools by a licensed locksmith or vehicle repairer. We can code the smart key and cut your key in our workshop in East Victoria Park WA or you can have it done locally to where you live.

We charge $90 to code this type of smart key and cut the emergency key blade. You will need to call to make an appointment.
