Mazda 3 & Mazda 6 2017 onward 3 button SKE13E-02 proximity smart remote

This non-genuine 3 button Mazda smart key can be used with a number of Mazda models as long as the orignal key has the same model as SKE13E-02.

This type of smart key can also be called a prox key or proximity key. People often refer to this type of remote key as being used for key-less start as you just push the button to start the car.

The information in the table above is inteded as a guide only and so you should check the details of your key match those below, in particular the Model should be SKE13E-02.

This type of smart key can only be coded using specialist diagnostic equipment connected to the vehicle. We can do this for you at our East Victoria Park shop or you can have it done by your local licensed locksmith, mechanic or auto electrician.

PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE SYMBOL ON THE BOOT BUTTON OF YOUR ORIGINAL KEY. THERE ARE 2 TYPES - SEDAN & SUV - IF YOU PROGRAM A KEY TO ONE OF THESE MAZDA VEHICLES AND THE NUMBER OF BUTTONS OR BOOT BUTTON SYMBOLS DO NOT MATCH YOU WILL GET AN ERROR ON THE DASH STATING INCORRECT KEY PROGRAMMED. THE KEY WILL GENERALLY STILL WORK OK BUT THE ERROR APPEARS EVERY TIME THE IGNITION IS TURNED ON AND BECOMES IRRITATING.

This particular key has the SEDAN symbol on the boot button and so only suits sedan models such as the Mazda 3 & 6.

This key is supplied with a battery fitted and the type of battery used is available to order under compatible items.

We have had this product tested by an independant NATA Approved Product Safety Testing facility to confirm it complies with AS/NZS 62368.1 Clause 4.8, which it does. 

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
