Mercedes BE FBS3 programable 3 button proximity fobik key

Mercedes vehicles have used a number of different style fobik keys over the years and these are generaly catagorised as NEC, BGA, BE, FBS3 and FBS4.

This Mercedes key here can be used with vehicles that came with BE FBS3 type keys with push button start.

Push button start is also referred to as proximity function or comfort access. This key has that fuctionallity and does need to be placed in the slot in the dash to start the vehicle. 

This proximity function will only work if the vehicle has comfort access enabled already.

THIS KEY IS BLANK AND NEEDS TO BE LOADED WITH THE CORRECT DATA FROM THE VEHICLE AND HAVE THE FREQUENCY SET BEFORE IT CAN BE PROGRAMMED WITH THE VEHICLE.

This aftermarket key does not feature a logo but logo stickers are available to replace the black plastic disc on the front and are easily fitted.

Programming this type of key is done in our workshop and the vehicle is generally needed for around 2 hours minimum. As the systems in the different models can vary, this time is only an estimate and the job may take longer depending on the method of programming required.
