Ford Ranger PK Series 1 2011 - 2015 2 Button ID63 Genuine flip key

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This genuine oem 2 button remote flip-key is designed for use with Ford Ranger PX Series 1 models from 2011 to 2015. This remote transmits on 434 MHz and the key uses an ID63 4D+DST40 transponder chip inside it.

The transponser chip inside this key can only be coded to the vehicle using diagnostic equipment by a licensed locksmith or mechanic. We offer this service at our East Victoria Park workshop or you can have it done locally to you.

The remote part of the key is programmed using a manual process also referred to as an onboard process. 

As this is a genuine product you will notice it features a Ford logo on the back of the key and has the part details in the sectio where the key blade folds into.

We also offer an aftermarket option for this flip key which has a different looking flip key body but has the same data on the circuit board and comes with the appropriate transponder chip inside.

This flip key uses the standard HU101 key blade as used with the majority of Ford vehicles.
