Hyundai genuine proximity key - emergency blade 81996-3Z020 stamped 39D

This emergency key blade fits inside a number of Hyundai smart proximity remote keys of the type shown in the photos.

The emergency key blade is released by pressing the small round silver button on the remote body and sliding out the emergency key. You will notice the key ring loop on this emergency key is quite different in shape to the EB-HY-18 as it fits into a different shape smart key.

Please check that the key profile of your existing key matches this one before purchasing.

The end of this key blade is stamped with 39D - please check that your key blade is also stamped the same.

Part number 81996-3Z020 and part number 81996-D3300 are essentially the same other than the details stamped on the key blade. 

This one here uses the Silca KIA7 or JMA HY-18 shape and you will notice this has a groove along the center of the key blade on both sides. This type of key is milled out along both sides of this central groove and is usually referred to as a wave cut or laser cut.

This key will need to be duplicated or cut to match your existing key. We can do this at our workshop in East Victoria Park WA 6101 or you can have it done at any good locksmith shop where you live.
