Hyundai & Kia compatible JMA HY-11 or Silca HYN14 aftermarket flip key blade

This aftermarket flip key blade matches the Silca HYN14 & JMA HY-11 key profile and can be used in our range of aftermarket flip key remotes. The Silca HYN14 profile was used with a few different Hyundai & Kia vehicles as listed below:

The Silca HYN14 or JMA HY-11 key blade profile was used with a number of Hyundai & Kia vehicles from the mid 2000s to the present day. As the reference implies with the R in it, the HYN14R is the reverse of the HYN14 profile and so please check the photos against your key with the tip of your key point downward to ensure it is orientated the same as the photo.

The Silca HYN14 (JMA HY-11) key blade profile looks very similar to a number of other key blades. Things to note include the fact this profile does not have the shoulder stops seen on other Hyundai & Kia key blades and so it is cut from the tip instead. The centre groove is symetrical with an equal angle on both sides of the groove. The centre groove is not actually in the dead centre and when you look at the tip of the key blade you will notice the groove is just to the LEFT of centre on the top surface. The thinned edge of the key is on the RIGHT side as shown in the photo. The key is cut on a traditional edge cut type key machine. 

PLEASE NOTE THIS BLADE WILL NOT FIT GENUINE HYUNDAI & KIA FLIP KEY REMOTES AS THE PART THAT FITS INTO THE FLIP KEY IS A DIFFERENT SHAPE AND SIZE AND THE POSITION OF THE ROLL PIN GROOVE IS ALSO DIFFERENT

To secure this key blade to the flip key we use a small roll pin. When we have cut the key blade it is then fitted to the flip key body. If you are buying this key blade along with a remote flip key and are going to have it cut & programmed where you live we will include a roll pin in the package with the key blade so that the locksmith who cuts the keyblade for you can secure it to the flip key.
