Citroen & Peugeot Silca VA2T or JMA CIT-1 compatible aftermarket flip key blades

This high quality Silca VA2T or JMA CIT-1 compatible flip key blade will fit our range of aftermarket universal flip keys.

The Silca VA2T or JMA CIT-1 key blade profile was used with a large number of Citroen & Peugeot models. We generally use this key blade when making an aftermarket flip key for these vehicles as in many cases the aftermarket flip keys are much stronger than the genuine Citroen & Peugeot issued black plactic body flip keys which are prone to having the flip mechanism fail and the buttons cracking.

The Silca VA2T (JMA CIT-1) key blade profile is fairly plain when uncut as you will see from the picture and only features a small cut away along the tip of the key blade and a small horizontal groove at the other end of the key blade near the body of the flip key. The side edges of the key blade are perfectly flat and should ot be confused with other key blades used with Citroen & Peugeot vehicles which feature a round bottom groove alone the side edge.

The key is cut on a milling machine type key cutter and is cut through the centre of both sides of the key. If you are not certain this key blade suits the vehicle you have please email us some photos of your key and we will assist you to work that out.

To secure this key blade to the flip key we use a small roll pin. When we have cut the key blade it is then fitted to the flip key body. If you are buying this key blade along with a remote flip key and are going to have it cut & programmed where you live we will include a roll pin in the package with the key blade so that the locksmith who cuts the keyblade for you can secure it to the flip key.
