Hyundai & Kia compatible Silca KIA9TE & JMA HY-20 aftermarket flip key blade marked 156

This aftermarket flip key blade matches the Silca KIA9TE & JMA HY-20 key profile and can be used in our range of aftermarket flip key remotes. The Silca KIA9TE key profile is used with a number of Hyundai & Kia models from around 2016 onward.

The Silca KIA9TE (JMA HY-20) key blade profile is quite different in appearance to earlier Hyundai key profiles. The key blade is perfectly rectangular and has no grooves or raised edges on the long surfaces. The tip has a cut away taper and that is about the only noticable feature. Many of the genuine keys feature a number 156 on the blade but we have now seen some other keys that match the dimensions of this one with other numbers stamped on them and so this is no longer a way to identify the blade.

The key is machined using a milling type key cutting machine along the centre of the flat surface of both sides. 

PLEASE NOTE THIS BLADE WILL NOT FIT GENUINE HYUNDAI & KIA FLIP KEY REMOTES AS THE PART THAT FITS INTO THE FLIP KEY IS A DIFFERENT SHAPE AND SIZE AND THE POSITION OF THE ROLL PIN GROOVE IS ALSO DIFFERENT

To secure this key blade to the flip key we use a small roll pin. When we have cut the key blade it is then fitted to the flip key body. If you are buying this key blade along with a remote flip key and are going to have it cut & programmed where you live we will include a roll pin in the package with the key blade so that the locksmith who cuts the keyblade for you can secure it to the flip key.
