Hyundai & Kia compatible JMA HY-19 & Silca HY17R aftermarket flip key blade

This aftermarket flip key blade matches the Silca HY17R & JMA HY-19 key profile and can be used in our range of aftermarket flip key remotes. The Silca HY17R key profile is used with a number of Hyundai & Kia models from around 2011 onward.

The Silca HY17R (JMA HY-19) key blade profile is quite different in appearance to earlier Hyundai key profiles. The blade has a wide squared edge groove along the right edge of both surfaces. The key is machined using a milling type key cutting machine along the inside of this squared edge groove. There is a reverse to this key also which has the reference Silca HYN17 and JMA HY-19D and that profile has that squared edge groove on the left edge of both surfaces. 

PLEASE NOTE THIS BLADE WILL NOT FIT GENUINE HYUNDAI & KIA FLIP KEY REMOTES AS THE PART THAT FITS INTO THE FLIP KEY IS A DIFFERENT SHAPE AND SIZE AND THE POSITION OF THE ROLL PIN GROOVE IS ALSO DIFFERENT

To secure this key blade to the flip key we use a small roll pin. When we have cut the key blade it is then fitted to the flip key body. If you are buying this key blade along with a remote flip key and are going to have it cut & programmed where you live we will include a roll pin in the package with the key blade so that the locksmith who cuts the keyblade for you can secure it to the flip key.
