Holden RA Rodeo & RC Colorado 3 button compatible flip key

This 3 button remote flip key is compatible with the vehicles listed below:

The remote part of this key can be coded to the car using a manual procedure but the transponder chip which allows the key to start the engine can only be coded to the vehicle using specialist diagnostic equipment or may be cloned using other tools.

Please note that as the original key only has 2 buttons the boot butto on this flip key will not have any function.

We can do this for you at our shop in East Victoria Park WA or you can use your local locksmith, mechanic or auto electrician to code the chip. This process requires a security code or pin code from the dealer.

The sticker on the back of the original remote module inside the head of the key should say: TOKAI RIKACO LTD MDL G01TA

Having a flip key as opposed to the original fixed blade key has many advantages including being able to fold away the key blade when the key is in your pocket so it does not stick into your leg.

This flip key is also much stronger than the original plastic remote case.

Remote coding steps: PLEASE NOTE ALL OLD REMOTES MUST BE RE-CODED ALSO AS BELOW

1. Sit in the car with all doors closed

2. Open drivers door

3. Insert original key into the ignition

4. Within 5 seconds cycle the key from OFF to ON and back to OFF 

5. Close and open the drivers door once

6. Wait 8 seconds - timing is critical

7. Cycle the key in the ignition from OFF to ON and back to OFF

8. Close the drivers door. The hazard lights will flash 3 times to indicate you are in programming mode

9. Press the lock button 5 times fairly quickly. Hazard lights will blink once to indicate the remote has been coded.

10. Repeat step 9 for next remote

11 After all fobs have been coded remove the key from the ignition

12. Open and close the drivers door and test all remotes.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
