Fiat Doblo 2010 onward DELPHI BSI type - 3 button remote flip key

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

Fiat keys like this come in 2 main types which depend on which BSI is fitted to the vehicle DELPHI or MAGNETTI MARELLI

If you choose the incorrect key then the transponder will program OK and the car will start but the remote will not function and so it is vital you check which BSI is in the vehicle and check the VIN sticker on the door frame to confirm the build date of the vehicle.

This type of key will need to be pre-coded with information from the vehicle to make it into a "dealer key" before it is added to the vehicle. To do this a working key will be needed and special diagnostic equipment.

This work can take up to 2 hours to complete on some vehicles but is usually done inside 45 minutes. These keys are supplied with a battery fitted and you can buy extra batteries under Compatible items.

We also sell a replacement key shell for this type of key, so if the electronics in your key still work correctly but the plastic casing is damaged you can order a key shell and have it swapped over to save money.

This flip-key uses the common Silca SIP22 or JMA FI-16 key blade profile.
