This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again.

This type of key will need to be pre-coded with information from the vehicle to make it into a "dealer key" before it is added to the vehicle. To do this a working key will be needed and special diagnostic equipment connected to the vehicle.
