TAU 250S 4RP 4 button white & grey rolling code gate remote control

This is the rolling code slim remote with no dip switches and so please ensure your remote does not have the dip switches inside as with the old remote as they are not compatible.

This remote has a GREEN LED as it is rolling code, if your remote has a RED LED this indicates it is FIXED code and so please check inside it to see if it has dip switches as shown in the photos.

This TAU 250S-4RP operates on 433.92mhz and is programmed at the receiver. It has 4 buttons and the case is grey on the back and white on the front. It attaches easily to a key ring using the lanyard supplied.

Inside the box you will see a QR code that will take you directly tot he instructions for rolling code remote programming. There are also instructions on the back of the box for quick coding of new 250S-4RP remotes where you have a working rolling code 250K-SLIM RP or 250T-4RP remote that already works with the receiver.

We have found that add-on receivers are often used with TAU motors and so we can also provide additional instructions on programming the remote to such a receiver. 

This new TAU remote can be used along side the old TAU SLIM 250K remotes with the carbon fibre look case as long as they both have a GREEN LED. The 250S-4RP is slightly larger than the older 250K-SLIM as shown in the photos attached.

This new remote is supplied with 2 X CR2016 batteries already fitted. If you need more batteries you can add them from the compatible items tab. You will also see under Compatible items we sell a clip which can be used to mount the remote on a wall or to the sun visor in your car.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
