ASA Think + 4 button black swing or sliding gate remote control

Used mostly for residential sliding and swing gates, the ASA Think + or REMGR is used extensively by Automatic Solutions Australia, hence the ASA name.

In the majority of cases you can code in this remote without directly accessing the control board. If you have any of the following  control boards or receivers running on rolling code, you should be able to use the self learning method to add your new remote.

RWAU2SA, RKAU2, RWAU2

PLEASE NOTE THESE REMOTES CANNOT BE USED ON THESE RECEIVERS IF THERE ARE ALREADY ANY OF THE OLDER LEB ROLLY REMOTES PROGRAMMED TO THE RECEIVER.

IF THIS IS THE CASE - THE RECEIVER WILL NEED TO BE SET BACK TO DEFAULT SETTINGS AND THEN THE THINK + REMOTES CAN BE ADDED

This remote has a low battery warning: If the LED flashes slowly when a button is pressed (less than 1 time each second) the battery needs to be replaced.

This remote sadly has no model numbers on the case or the circuit board as you will see from the photos. 

If you are not certain that the remote you have is compatible please feel free to email us a photo of the remote and your motor and we will be more than happy to help you work out which remote to purchase. If the motor does not have a model number on the outside please open the cover and send us a photo of the control board or receiver unit.

For swing gates the control board and receiver are normally in a grey rectangular box on the wall near the gate with a screw in each corner. Remove these 4 screws and take a photo of the control board inside it and any numbers printed on the board.

All our remotes are supplied with easy to follow instructions on how to program them to your garage or gate motor. To ensure you get the most appropriate instructions please tell us the model of the motor you are going to use the remote with in the comment section of the checkout.

In most cases you can add a new remote while standig next to the gate by using an already programmed remote control. This method is called "Far Storing" as you do not have to touch the receiver. We will email the instructions for this once we ship your order.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
