Suzuki Swift 2011-2017 OEM 2 button Omron T68LO integrated transponder remote module

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

Unlike other Suzuki remote keys where the remote and transponder chip are separate, these newer models use an integrated remote and transponder all on one circuit board.

This particular remote module has the part number: T68LO Omron on the back of it and can be used with:

It features an ID46 PCF 7961 HITAG2 type transponder and the remote transmits on 433.9MHz FSK.

You should confirm that your original remote also features the same T68LO number on it.

This is an OEM remote module and an aftermarket key shell is available to use it with under Compatible Items. The original remote has part number: 37145-68L10

This remote and transponder can only be programmed to the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool conected to the vehicle. We are licensed to do this and so we can cut the key blade and program the transponder and remote for you at our workshop in East Victoria park WA.

You can of course order the remote & key shell online and have it cut and programmed by a local locksmith where you live.

If you decide to open your key to check the part umber please use a good quality screw driver that perfectly fits the screw as these screws usually have some thread lock glue on them and you can easily strip the dead of the screw if you do ot use a good quality screw driver to open it.
