XH 3 button knife style writable flip key with integrated transponder in circuit

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

Inside most modern car keys are 2 important elements, the central locking remote and a transponder chip which holds the information for the immobiliser. This transponder chip can either be a separate item or part of the circuit board. In the case of this key, the transponder is part of the same circuit board as the remote.

Generally when the transponder chip is separate to the remote circuit board the 2 items are coded to the car in 2 stages, but when the transponder chip is integrated into the circuit board the two elements are coded to the vehicle at one time using a single process. 

This type of Super Series flip key is used for those types of keys and there are a selection of Super remotes depending on the type of transponder used and within those there may be a few styles of each to choose from. This super remote can be generated wirelessly, without connecting a remote cable between it and the generating device.

This flip key here has 3 buttons with LOCK - UNLOCK - BOOT
