This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

This is a high quality aftermarket 3 button smart proximity key for use with Holden ZB Commodore models built after 2017. The remote features  LOCK - UNLOCK & BOOT buttons and includes the slide out emergency key.

The emergency key is a Silca HU100 key profile as used on many Holden vehicles.

This proximity remote key can only be programmed to the vehicle using diagnostic equipment and we can do this for you at our East Victoria Park workshop. Just call us on (08) 6110 2693. We charge $90 for this service if you purchase the key from us.

Alternately you can have it coded to your vehicle by a licensed locksmith or autoelectrician where you live.

In the event that the battery in your remote dies, you can slide out the emergency key to open the vehicle by pressing the small chrome button on the side and pull on the keyring end of the remote. Once removed use the key to open the vehicle. To start the motor you need to place the key, button side down on the small surface in front of the cup holders where you will see a padlock symbol. Once placed there you can press the Start/Stop button to start the vehicle.
