Suzuki Jimny 2005-2017 models with ALPS 37182-A7 remote module

This top quality 2 button flip key can be programmed to Suzuki Jimny models from 2005 - 2017 which have the black plastic headed 2 button remote key shown in the photos.

Your original remote should have: ALPS 37182-A7 printed on the back as shown in the photos. If it does not then this flip key may not suit your vehicle.

The key will be precoded to suit this vehicle and the transponder chip must be programmed to the car using a diagnostic scan tool or the chip in the original key can be cloned.

The remote is programmed to the vehicle using what is known as a manual procedure. We can provide instructions on how to do this if you wish to do that part yourselft.

We can do all of the cutting & programming for you at our East Victoria Park workshop in WA or you can use a licensed locksmith where you live.

This type of key has a separate ID65 or ID66 transponder chip inside the front section of the key shell.

The transponder chip and remote are programmed to the vehicle in two stages.

These flip keys are very good quality and tend to be much stronger than the original plastic headed remote keys that come with the vehicle. The key blade on this flip key folds away and so it does not dig into your leg when the key is in your pocket.

The first photo shows a direct size comparrison between the 2 types of key so you can get an idea of the size of the flip key.

The flip key is supplied with a battery fitted and a key blade and roll pin. The key blade will need to be cut to match the vehicle and then it will need to be fitted to the flip key body using the roll pin supplied with it. Any locksmith will be able to do this for you if you have having it done locally where you live.

There is a recess on the back of the flip key where you can place a 14mm logo sticker if you wish but please note it is not supplied with one.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
