Mini Cooper R50 R52 & R53 2002 - 2008 3 button remote flip key 315 MHz PCF7935 EWS chip

The remote in this type of Mini Cooper key is based on the early BMW systems and is programmed to the car via a manual process using a working key. The remote can be programmed even if no working remote is available but you must have a key that starts the car to complete the process/

This flip key suits the following models as long as they are using the same style key currently. Please check the photos carefully.

The transponder chip in this key can only be programmed to the car usig specific equipment. We are licensed to do this.

We can do this and cut the key blade at our workshop in East Victoia Park W.A. or you can have it done by your local licensed locksmith.

This remote transmits on 315 MHz ASK as do most BMW MINI models in Australia but we have seen a few exceptions to this rule where the remote transmitted on 433 Mhz.

The key is supplied with a battery fitted to the remote and a uncoded PCF7935 - EWS transponder chip also.

Feel free to email us a photo of the details on your key if you are not certain it is correct or matches this one.  You can always drop into our shop and we can scan the key to identify the chip and check the frequency of the remote.

This key features 3 buttons with Unlock - Lock & Boot. The genuine versions of this key use a hardwired battery which cannot be replaced but this aftermarket key uses a replaceable CR2032 battery in the remote.

This key blade matches the Silca HU92 profile as is widely used on BMW cars.

We also sell replacement key shells for the original shape key if your original case is damaged and you just want to transfer the remote and chip into a new case.

We strongly reccomend you always have a spare key for your vehicle.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
