Mazda CX30 CX5 & CX9 2020 onward aftermarket 3 button proximity key TAYH-67-5-DY

This product has been temporarily removed from sale as direct result of the Consumer Goods (Products Containing Button/Coin Batteries) Safety Standard 2020 which becomes enforceable on 22nd June 2022 and carries fines of up to $1million. 

All products that contain a button cell or coin type battery must be safety tested to confirm they comply with these new regulations. All button cell batteries must be in a new type of packaging with new labels. 

We are working with all of our suppliers to confirm this compliance before we make the product available for sale again. 

We should have had 18 months to get this compliance but sadly the ACCC did not inform our suppliers or us or pretty much any other industry and we only found out about this new law 4 weeks ago.

The information in the table above is intended to be used as a guide only. Before placing an order please check the details of your original key carefully to ensure it matches this one. i.e. is your key a 3 button proximity key matching this style with the buttons on the side?

Inside your key does it have the part number MODEL: SKE11E-01 and reference DCDB08R? 

On the bottom of the proximity remote you will see a little black slide button. When you slide this toward the side of the key it will allow you to remove the back cover of the key. Inside you will see the emergency blade attached to the back cover and if the remote is genuie you will see the details of the remote printed there as shown in the photos. Aftermarket remotes do not have this detail printed inside and so if you are not sure you can alwasy send us your VIn number to cross reference it. 

Once the back cover is removed you can also remove the front cover and inside this section you will see the battery compartment. Please check the photos for more info on this or take a look on YouTube for videos on how to safley open the remote without breaking the case. 

PLEASE NOTE THE PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE THE EMERGENCY KEY BLADE - PROGRAMMING OR CUTTING

This type of proximity key can only be programmed using specialist daignostic equipment and the programming takes a little longer than the older proximity keys so please allow around an hour for the new key to be cut and programed.

As you will see from the photos this aftermarket proximity remote does not have a Mazda logo on the front but aftermarket logo stickers to suit it are available if you would like to attach one.

This key is supplied with a CR2032 battery already fitted and if you require a spare you can add one to your order from the Compatible items section.
