Mitsubishi ASX - Lancer - Outlander PHEV 3 button OEM smart proximity remote key

This key has the LOCK - UNLOCK & BOOT buttons. 

PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE SYMBOL ON THE BOOT BUTTON WHICH IS AN SUV STYLE SYMBOL AS THIS KEY IS INTENDED FOR SUV MODELS.

IT CAN BE USED ON THE LANCER SEDAN MODEL ALSO WE BELIEVE WHICH USUALLY USE PART NUMBER 8637A663

If you give your VIN to the dealer they can confirm what part number you need and will give you a price so you can compare our price to it. I think you will find this OEM key is considerably cheaper than a genuine one from a main dealer.

OEM proximity remotes do not come with the emergency key blade included - you can add one to your order from Compatible Items. 

This key is compatible with - Mitsubishi Part Number: 8637A698

Please note this OEM proximity key uses a CR2032 battery where as most aftermarket Mitsubishi proximity keys use a CR2025 battery. You can order either from the compatible items tab.

We also sell an aftermarket version of this smart proximity remote which has no Mitsubishi logo on the back and has a sedan style sumbol on the BOOT button. You can see this listed under Compatible items.

This smart key will need to be coded to the vehicle using specialist diagnostic equipment which we can do for you at our workshop in East Victoria Park or you can have a licensed locksmith near you do this work. 

We charge $90 to cut the key and program the proximity remone on these keys if we have supplied the key.

Programming a spare key to your Mitsubishi is pretty straight forward when you have a working key, but becomes much more expensive if you lose your only key. We strongly reccomend you always have a spare key to your vehicle.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

If you suspect your child has swallowed a button battery or placed inside any part of the body, immediately call the POISONS INFORMATION CENTRE on 13 11 26 for prompt advice. If your child is having any difficulty breathing, contact 000.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
