This genuine Toyota 89472-37080 Tokai Rika F51tg remote was used with the following models:

Toyota Landcruiser 70 series (VDJ76R / VDJ78R / VDJ79R) 2009 to 2023

On the back of the remote you will see a sticker with the following info:

If the sticker is no longer on the back of your old remote you can open the remote case using a flat blade scredriver inserted in the slot on the side and inside the remote you will also see a sticker with the detail:

Many of our separate remotes fobs such as this one here can be programmed to your vehicle yourself and we provide instruction on how to do this with all such remotes. The instructions will usually have pictures of which buttons to press in the car or very specific instructions on what you need. In almost all cases this takes less than 5 minutes to complete and some such as the Ford remotes can take as little as 2 minutes to program to your car.

If you are not confident about programming the remote yourself just select the Click & Collect delivery option and then bring your car to our shop during business hours and we will program the remote for you.

There are currently no aftermarket replacement remotes for this one.

PROGRAMMING STEPS:

Key Removed from Ignition, drivers door open, all other doors closed
Insert key into ignition, then turn ON and OFF
Close and open the drivers door twice
Turn key ON then OFF
Close and open the drivers door twice
Close the drivers door, then lock the vehicle using the door lock control switch on door panel
Within 40 seconds; Turn the key to ON then back to LOCK - once to add a remote while retaining the original codes, or twice to rewrite the original remote codes
Unlock the vehicle using the door lock control switch on door panel
The indicator lights will flash or the door locks will lock and unlock according to the option selected above. This indicates vehicle is now in registration mode
Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK on the remote together for more than 1 second
Release both buttons and then press the unlock button on the same remote once
The indicator lights will flash or the door locks will lock and unlock to confirm programming of each remote
Open door or turn ignition ON to end registration mode.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Swallowing or placing a button cell battery inside any part of the body may lead to severe or fatal injuries in as little as 2 hours or less due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

If you suspect your child has swallowed a button battery or placed inside any part of the body, immediately call the POISONS INFORMATION CENTRE on 13 11 26 for prompt advice. If your child is having any difficulty breathing, contact 000.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
