Toyota Hilux 2009-2015 & Yaris 2011-2014 2 button 314 MHz remote key with G chip

This is a genuine Toyota replacement key with a genuine 2 button remote inside which can be used with a number of Toyota Models as detailed in the list below.

To make sure it is compatible with your existing key - please check if your remote has the detail:

printed on the sticker on the back of the remote as shown in the attached images.

Then check that there is a G stamped into the key blade of your key near the top where it joins the plastic casing. This indicates a G-Chip transponder is used in the key.

If you have had the shell of your old key replaced it may not have this G stamped into it and so you would need to have the chip scanned by a locksmith or at a key cutting shop to confirm if it uses the G-chip transponder.

If the details on the sticker on the back of your remote matches and your key is stamped with a G, then this is the correct key for you.

The remote part of the key can be coded to the vehicle following the instructions we will provide to you. You will need a MASTER KEY to do this, so if you only have a grey VALET key please let us know as you may not be able to code the remote using this method.

The G-chip and remote can also be coded to the vehicle using using a diagnostic device or scan tool with the correct software. This can be done by a licensed locksmith, mechanic or auto-electrician. We can of course also cut the key blade and code the chip and remote for you at our workshop in East Victoria Park WA 6101.

You will see under Compatible Items that we also sell an aftermarket version of this remote key and a replacement key shell if your remote is still working but the key shell is broken.

This remote comes with a CR2016 battery fitted and spare batteries can be ordered under Compatible Items also.
