Jaguar XF XK XKR & XS compatible 5 button proximity remote key shell

OEM spec replacement remote shell to suit Jaguar 5 button smart proximity remote key used with a number of different Jaguar models.

If you remote is still working but the rubber on the casing is delaminating or is damaged you can swap the circuit board into this new OEM spec shell and your key will be as good as new again.

The inforamtion in the table above is intended to be used as a reference only. You may have a key that looks identical to this one but is being used with a vehicle from a year not listed. As long as your key looks identical to the photos the circuit board will fit into this replacement shell.

The kit includes the plastic front and back sections of the case and the 2 chrome side sections.

The remote has 5 buttons for LOCK - UNLOCK - LIGHTS - BOOT - PANIC ALARM.

To open the case you will need to gently and carefully remove the 2 chrome sections on the sides of the case. To do this gently pry them off from the end where the emergency key blade is fitted. 

You need to tacke great care when separating the front and back of the case and even more care should be taken putting them back together. There is a battery contact on the back of the remote circuit board that we often see get damaged when people try to replace the battery in these keys. This battery contact is soldered onto the PCB and sits up off the board. It can easily be broken when putting the case back together if you do not line up both halves correctly.
