Hyundai 81996-1S001 genuine flip key blade matching Silca HYN14R profile

This aftermarket flip key blade matches the Silca HYN14R & JMA HY-11D key profile and can be used in our range of aftermarket flip key remotes. The Silca HYN14R profile was used with a few different Hyundai & Kia vehicles as listed below:

The Silca HYN14R or JMA HY-11D key blade profile was used with a number of Hyundai & Kia vehicles from the mid 2000s to around 2018.

The Silca HYN14R (JMA HY-11D) key blade profile looks very similar to a number of other key blades. Things to note include the fact this profile does not have the shoulder stops seen on other Hyundai & Kia key blades and so it is cut from the tip instead. The centre groove is symetrical with an equal angle on both side of the groove. The centre groove is not actually in the dead centre and when you look at the tip of the key blade you will notice the groove is just to the right of centre on the top surface. The thinned edge of the key is on the left side as shown in the photo. The key is cut on a traditional edge cut type key machine. 

PLEASE NOTE THIS BLADE WILL NOT FIT AFTERMARKET HYUNDAI FLIP KEY REMOTES AS THE PART THAT FITS INTO THE FLIP KEY IS A DIFFERENT SHAPE AND SIZE AND THE POSITION OF THE ROLL PIN GROOVE IS ALSO DIFFERENT

To secure this key blade to the flip key we use a small roll pin. When we have cut the key blade it is then fitted to the flip key body. If you are buying this key blade along with a remote flip key and are going to have it cut & programmed where you live please ensure you include a roll pin in your order.
