RFID tags are used to access doors, elevators, electric gates etc in more and more buildings these days. The tags are sometimes housed inside the back of a remote control, or may be in the form of a card about the same size as a credit card or like this one are attached to a key ring.
RFID tags come in a vareity of frequencies and encryption types. Most can be copied but some use very specific rolling code encryption meaning they cannot be cloned. A good example of this is the HID iClass tags which are patent protected and cannot be copied.
THIS TAG IS A 125 KHz FREQUENCY
This RFID tag shown here is blank and is used to write to once the data from the original tag is copied using a special RFID cloning machine. We do not sell these online as they would be of no use to you unless you have a suitable cloning machine to write the data to the tag.
THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THE BACK OF EVERY TAG IS DIFFERENT - ITS A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE A NOTE OF THIS NUMBER SOMEWHERE SAFE
If you are not sure what type of tag you have, pop in to our workshop and we can scan it for you and copy it to a suitable blank tag or card.
