Ford Transit blue key 3 button aftermarket remote key

This non-genuine Ford Transit van remote head can be used with a long list of transit vans. It does not have a Ford logo on the back as it not a genuine part. It is however a high quality OEM spec remote.

Importantly the battery in these remotes can be changed unlike the genuine remotes where the battery it is soldered to the circuit board and the unit is sealed.

This remote part also contains the transponder chip which works with your vehicle immobiliser and the 2 elements are coded to the vehicle at once using diagnostic programming.

This is the only method to add one of these remotes.

Depending on the year of the vehicle you may have 1 of two different shaped key blades and both are available under the compatible items tab below. 

We can cut and code this to your car in store as long as you have a key. Please call in advance to make an appointment as the diagnostic coding can only be done by a licensed member of staff.

If you do not live close by you can of course purchase this remote online and have it coded at your local locksmith as long as they have the correct software or device.

The blue remote part slides into the key part and they can be separated by placing a flat blade screw driver in the slot in the back of the key and twisting gently.

The remote features 3 buttons with symbols for lock, unlock and boot although we have found that not all models will have the boot or back door wired with an electronic release. 

Even though this is a non-genuine part it is still covered by a full 12 month warranty.

WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Never allow children to replace button batteries on any device. Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
