As long as your proximity remote control module still works, you can have the blade of this key cut to match your existing key and insert the proximity remote module and you are up and running again.

If you come into our East Victoria Park workshop we will be happy to cut the key, swap over your case and test your battery, while you wait. It is always best to have the car present when getting the key cut so it can be properly tested.

Honda keys need to be cut very accurately or they can get stuck in the lock. When we cut Honda key blades we cut them to code so that they are the same as they were when they came out of the factory. We do not duplicate worn keys, as the resulting copy will not work well and may get stuck in the lock. Always ask the company you are going to use to cut your Honda key if they plan to cut it to code or just duplicate it.

If you do not live close by you can of course order this proximity remote shell and take it to your local key cutting shop and have them cut the blade to match your existing key. Then you can swap the proximity remote module into the new shell and you are up and running.
