OEM Toyota 4 button silver proximity key with circuit board id 271451-6230. Remote transmits on 312 MHz ASK and transponder chip ID 4D+ DST40 - P1 94

Most importantly - open your current remote and look in the bottom right corner. There is a square metal transmitter chip and this must have 312 engraved on it as this denotes the 312 MHz transmission frequency. The 312 MHz frequency is generally only used with vehicles built for the Japanese market.

This oem smart key remote is compatible with a number of Toyota models including some Alphard, Estima & Vellfire models imported from Japan to Australia.

Please check that the circuit board number in your existing remote is 271451-0500.

The most definitive method to identify your current key is by identifying the circuit board number, confirming it is a 4 button version of the circuit board, reading the frequency of the remote and scanning the transponder chip in store.

This type of smart key is also sometimes referred to as a proximity key or prox key as it allows you to start the vehicle without having to put it in a slot or put a key in the ignition.
