This after-market Alfa Romeo 3 button flip key can be used with the following vehicles:

The information in the table above is provided by the maker of this key and is intended as a guide only. The most reliable method to identify the correct key is to check which BSI type is fitted to the vehicle.

This key is suited to vehicle with either 1K79X or 3K91D immobiliser system only 

This type of key will need to be pre-coded with information from the vehicle to make it into a "dealer key" before it is added to the vehicle. To do this a working key will be needed and special diagnostic equipment connected to the vehicle OBD port.

We can carry out the coding for you or you can use another licensed locksmith in your area.

IMPORTANT: If you plan to purchse the key from us and get it programmed locally to you, you should first speak to the local locksmiths and check that they have the correct tools for rhe job and are willing to work with a key you purchased elsewhere.

Additional fees apply and you will need an appointment. This work normally takes about 40 minutes but can take up to 1.5 hours to complete on some vehicles.

This flip-key uses the common Silca SIP22 or JMA FI-16 key blade profile.

If your remote key still works but the case is damaged or the button pads have holes in them, we do also sell replacement flip key shells which will allow you to spruce up your tired looking flip key.

Dispose of used button/coin batteries immediately and safely. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device. Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it immediately out of reach of children in an outside bin or recycle safely.
